It's definitely worth the price. There's no Tricks to the application, it actually does solve equations. The apps solves Linear equations, Quadratic equations, also simplifies expressions, solves literal and radical equations, and can perform arithmetic. If you're having troubles with any of the above, you should consider buying this application.
This app is built as simplistic as possible; once you open the application you can start your equation right away. No waits. No "Option-Screen". Nothing. Just a number-pad. The great thing about this app is that you don't have to fake how you completed the question. Math Solver creates the solution for you & gives you a Step-by-Step tutorial of how it solved the equation. All you have to do is copy the Steps & Voila!... You have your answer. Another great feature this app has is the Text-pad feature. Since there aren't any letters like "a", "b", or "c" on the number-pad itself, the app allows the user to enter these letters with a touch on the text-box.(Above the # Pad.)Too be honest... this application offers you everything you need to pass the Equation Unit in Math.
